ATL New Business of the Year 2010
Award Nomination
The Asian Trade Link holds its annual Yorkshire Enterprise and Diversity Awards ceremony, awarding individuals and businesses who have achieved success in their respective fields. On March 30th this year it was held at the Aagrah Restaurant Midpoint venue and attended by the Chief Executive of Bradford Council, Tony Reeves, and prominent business people.
Arakan Creative submitted its nomination under the New Business of the Year 2010 category and was honored to make the final shortlist. There were five categories in total and ATL received numerous entries, with only three fortunate to make the final stages of each category. Although we did not walk away with the prize, Arakan stood as the youngest of the three companies and we are proud to be have been recognised as a worthy candidate. Endorsed by Sofia Ashraf, Project Manager at Accent Community Partnerships, it is a testament to the hard work and results achieved thus far, only six months since the official formation of Arakan.
Our sincere thanks to all those who have helped Arakan at every stage, in particular the staff at Accent Community Partnerships, namely Sofia Ashraf, Rizwan Sidat and Nawaz Khan. It is also a triumph for Accent as in the four years since they have helped new businesses, this is the first time they have had a company make such an achievement.
